- Direct Support Manager Intern: The right candidate will have Bachelors Degree in the Human Services, Sociology, Psychology or an allied field, and at least 1 year experience working with developmentally disabled. Must have demonstrated supervisory experience, the ability to communicate effectively with parents and multiple parties, work from a team approach, be highly organized and be able to handle multiple tasks and documentation. Will be responsible for staffing, implementation of ISP, reviewing and updating all program goals, training of direct care staff, maintaining contact with family and guardians and follow up on all recommended services and medical needs. This position must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Word and be English-Spanish bilingual. A clean criminal record and a successful work history is required. A valid Nevada Driver License and own transportation is required. This is a non smoking work environment. Employer has a dress code. Minimum Age: 18
- Community Trainer: This position is responsible for teaching basic living skills, such as cooking, hygiene, money management and social inclusion to people with disabilities. The Community Trainer position is part-time with variable hours/days available. This is a wonderful resume-building job for students and a fantastic way for stay-at home parents and retirees to bring in extra income while helping others. Some experience with people with disabilities helpful but not necessary. Schedules vary. Starting wage is $9.00/hour.
